Kettlebell Workout Routine
Want to start using kettlebell workout routine in your workout but not sure where to start ?
Are you still trying to figure out if Kettlebells are right for you ?
Well I would like to give you a bit of guidance and simply tell you that kettlebells are a safe alternative to a traditional “body building” style weight lifting program.
Even with a simple movement like the kettlebell swing, you’ll get a serious butt kicking. Nothing like you would with a traditional exercise program. The one thing you’ll notice when using kettlebells is that it is easy to get into a workout and before you know it you’re working harder than you have ever done so before. Not to mention in areas you thought were much stronger.
I personally love the way I feel after a good kettlebell workout routine as I am sure you will too. Understanding the different workouts takes a bit of practice but like with anything once you get the basics, in this case kettlebell swings, you’ll be able to do more advance movements like one hand over head snatch or turkish get ups.
I want to make sure you know that kettlebells are not dumbbells. I see people using them as dumbbells all the time. Which is fine but once you get using kettlebell specific movements you wont need to use them as dumbbell. You’re body will get all it needs from those movements. So there will be no need never mind any want to do some dumbbell curls.
Now you may be wondering if lifting heavy will make you gain weight. With kettlebells and the type of workout that you will be doing you’ll be able to add lots of strength and endurance well keeping a lower body weight, if you so choose. Easiest way to add weight is up your intake but that’s a whole different area. Just know you wont gain “body building” type mass.
One of the best things about using this way to workout, is that you don’t need stuff like benches and pulleys and what not. Just you and your friend. Mister (or Miss) kettlebell. That’s it. Doesn’t get much simpler.
So hopefully i have and will be able to give you a better idea of why you should be using kettlebells in your workout.
If not then keep reading. I’m sure you’ll find something that will help you get a better understanding of what and why this is a perfect tool for your next workout. I hope you enjoyed this little introduction.
